I do a lot of travel work, but not having an assigned desk in the office would drive me crazy. I don’t want to haul my stuff in and out of a locker like I’m back in high school! Neal Stephenson had a swipe at this “hot desking/no assigned desk” concept in Snow Crash. It’s hilarious in fiction, but annoying in reality.
